»Create your space«
The project »Create your space« will take place in YC Kotlovnica, Kamnik Slovenia and will last for 10 months. This is second project within the European Voluntary Service program.
Two volunteers will work in the youth centre Kotlovnica for 8 months and will create their own space in the fields of multimedia, culture and art. The focus points of the project are creativity and innovation.
One volunteer will work in the multimedia field for web television koTV and learn how to film, montage and report about the happening in our town, and will also be able to produce their own broadcast about topics as fight against prejudice, solidarity, volunteering and active citizenship.
The other volunteer (that’s me) will work in the youth centre's main space, where art, cultural and musical events take place. I will be in charge of visual image of the place (designing, decorating) and also its program (organizing, preparing, promoting and realizing events).

About EVS
The European Voluntary Service (EVS) provides young Europeans aged 18 – 30 years with the unique chance to express their personal commitment through unpaid and full-time voluntary activities in a foreign country within or outside the EU for up to 12 months.
In this way, it seeks to develop solidarity, mutual understanding and tolerance among young people, thus contributing to reinforcing social cohesion in the European Union and to promoting young people's active citizenship.
EVS is a part of a program Youth In Action, supported by European Commision.
